Contradiction

In silence, gratification of soul
a celeberation of self one feels;
Yet the ears long to hear
meaningless words that someone speaks.

Enjoying the closed doors lonliness
the space belongs to you and just you;
Yet a possession of nothingness
this sense haunts every second new.

Pride in a life lived by will
of rules followed of none but own;
Yet a direction lost to time
long tiresome walk on a path unknown.

Doesn't matter how world perceives
for the "I" stands tall;
Yet the hands reach out to hold someone
saviour from that inevitable fall.

Darkness is a friend for life
care not for brightness anymore;
Yet the eyes keep staring at
that conspiciously fated open door.

Talking in the tool of language that is your own PERCEPTION, it is not the "I" that stands tall. It is a feeling called Love. And there is nothing that can be certain. The echoes are illussionary. Only one thing remains stronger than Fate, Destiny, Attempts, and Illussions- you own desire. And Desire could be real or imaginary, or may be fits in none of the contours. It won't leave, because you don't want it to. The world is as free as you are.

One more thing... one loves, not because you need to save someone from certain "inevitable" falls, but you love the way you yourself feel in love. It is a mighty, bloody self-indulgent feeling!

Wouldn't you say that Darkness illuminates another world? Why limit our perception only to the Light? And while your brain is busy percepting this, there are worlds that haven't seen the light -or the dark.
