The Pendulum

Between the black real and white imagination,
Between the thoughtless words and sage silence,
Between the soothing tears and the crackling laughter,
Between the evil smile and the innocent cry;

Between the den of satan and temple of God,
Between the darkness of night and morning light,
Between the ignorance and the wisdom,
Between the truth and what escapes the eye;

Between the uninhibited lust and pure love,
Between the actions of hand and feelings of heart,
Between the me that is and the me imagines to be,
Between the loud happiness and silent sigh;

The pendulum of time swings, swiftly
Seconds lost to minutes, and minutes to hour
Running in the quest of the ultimate truth;
Between the extreme shores of the sea of I.

yes the pendulum swings n swings n swings... sumtimes towards the real truth and sumtimes towards the imagined truth.... but it has to go on like this only.. otherwise real truth will loose its importance... and no one would yearn for it

Oh this is such an amazing read!
The tempo and the desires of a human mind, captured very very well in this!

It actually brought to mind, the short story The Pendulum by O Henry:)
